George E. Hutchison, 71, a resident of Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw, passed away at 9:45 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2018.
George was born Jan. 1, 1947, to Gobel Hutchison and Helen Brainard Hutchison. Born in Rush, Ky., George was the oldest of 12. He spent many years living in Northern Indiana.
George was married to Jane Metzger on Dec. 9, 1969. They were together for nearly 50 years before George’s passing; Jane survives in South Whitley.
He worked at Irmscher for more than 40 years, first as a laborer and later as warehouse manager.
In addition to his wife, Jane, George is survived by his son, Shawne Hutchison, South Whitley; daughter, Courtney Taylor, and her husband, Ben, Atwood; two grandchildren, Alivia and Blake Taylor; and nine siblings.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
His family has chosen to celebrate George’s life privately. No services will be held.
