NAPPANEE — George D. Flowers, 89, Nappanee, died at 10:46 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Syracuse, where he had resided since Feb. 24.
He was born July 16, 1928, in Nappanee, to Noble and Beulah Hoffer Flowers. On Sept. 4, 1946, he married Peggy Mikesell in Culver. She died April 16, 2016.
George was a graduate of Nappanee High School and served with the United States Navy.
Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, with Masonic services at 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with calling one hour prior. Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery.
