Gentry Covell Hoover, 73, Claypool, passed away at 11:45 p.m. Jan. 19, 2018, at Life Care Center of Rochester.
Gentry was born in Russel Spring, Ky., on June 10, 1944.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Hermana K. Hoover, and two sons, Randall (Jennifer) Hoover, Claypool, and Russell Hoover, Hoover, Ala. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren: Merry, Lindsey, Abby, Amber, Kelly, Kendrick, Victor and Kaleb.
