The Rodeheaver Series for the Performing Arts will present the Gentle Winds Trio in a performance they call “Tiptoe Through the Masters” featuring selections by celebrated master composers Sunday at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Warsaw. Admission is free of charge; donations are appreciated. The members of the Gentle Winds Trio are Dianne Martin-Ratliff, flute; Dawn Engler, flute; and Mary Jeane Kraft, cello. Formed in 1993, the trio began as a group of friends looking for a social and musical outlet, and found that their appetite for artistic endeavor was shared by audiences as well. Their diverse repertoire is suited for concert hall as to a more intimate setting, made evident by their previous performance venues which include weddings, luncheons, churches, dinner parties, programs and dedications. The Rodeheaver Series for the Performing Arts, sponsor of this concert, was established in 1990 to support and foster performing arts and artists in a manner which brings glory to God. Named for the Rodeheaver family, known for their development and support of Christian music, and long-time members of First UMC, the Rodeheaver Series has sponsored more than 75 concerts, recitals and theatrical presentations. First United Methodist Church of Warsaw is at the corner of Indiana and Market streets in downtown Warsaw, is handicap accessible, and provides listening assistance.
