State Rep. Dave Wolkins, R-Winona Lake, presents a certificate of achievement to Eisenhower principal Chris Gensinger as school board member Tammy Dalton looks on. Eisenhower recently earned the Four-Star School designation - an accomplishment it has attained every year since it opened in 1991. The Four-Star Award is given to Hoosier schools who finish in the top 25 percent in total ISTEP score, language and math proficiency, and attendance. A celebration was held this morning at the school featuring community leaders and students. Photo by Gary Nieter, Times-Union
