SYRACUSE – Gene “Peanut” Felts, 86, of Syracuse, died Nov. 6, 2012. He was born Oct. 1, 1926, in Syracuse, to Lloyd and Edna Felts. He married Juanita Rollins, who preceded him in death. He was a World War IHI veteran and a member of the American Legion. He was a retired ceramic tile setter. Surviving are two children, Walter (and spouse Phyllis) Felts, Des Plaines, Ill., and Carol (and spouse Jeff) Butts, Grand Haven, Mich.; five grandchildren; and a great-grandson. He also was preceded in death by three brothers and a great-granddaughter. A graveside service will be after calling Sunday at Syracuse Cemetery.
