NORTH MANCHESTER - Gene A. Floor, 57, of Indianapolis, and formerly of Urbana, died at 4 p.m. April 25, 2010, in his residence.
He was born May 26, 1952, in Rochester, to Carl R. and Bertha M. Stafford Floor. On Oct. 9, 1999, he married Teresa Briggs, who survives.
He was operations manager for PetroTech Inc., Indianapolis.
Surviving are four sons: Shannon (and spouse Amy) Floor, Roann; Shane (and spouse Shannon) Floor, North Manchester; Shawn (and spouse Allison) Floor, Wabash; and Jarred Briggs, Indianapolis; a daughter, Danielle Briggs, Indianapolis; a brother, Tom (and spouse Susan) Floor, Roann; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Paul Torstrick officiating. Burial will be in Silver Creek Cemetery, Silver Lake.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
