NORTH MANCHESTER - The Timbercrest Senior Living Community recently announced the appointment of Mary Beth Gast as director of housing services. Previously she managed and directed physician practices and specialty clinics.
Gast is a graduate of Manchester College and resides in Akron with her husband, Greg, and two children, Thomas and Taylor.
Cast is responsible for the Timbercrest admission process where she matches the needs and wants of prospective residents with available accomodations. This includes the Plaza Commons apartments as well as the Neighborhood Homes and Manor Apartment Homes at the campus on East Street, North Manchester.
She also coordinates the move-in process to ensure that residents have a smooth transition as they move from one home to another. Gast also is responsible for the development and direction of Timbercrest's disaster preparedness.
"I was welcomed with open arms by residents and staff. I have enjoyed the opportunity to learn to know many people and to help them make important decisions regarding their choice of home," Gast said. "I have made many new friends already and look forward to expanding my circle of friends. I feel fortunate to have become part of the Timbercrest family."
