Editor, Times-Union: I have a vague recollection of gas wars taking place. Now there’s something for the gasoline vendors in Kosciusko County to do. Do immediately start lowering your prices as substantially as you can. Buyers, check on the computer to see where the lowest price in the county is and when on your way, just buy at that station. If their price is low enough, do buy another needed item to help them with any deficit. CITGO is on my “no-buy” list, however, no matter what. Do I remember correctly that they are owned by a dictatorship in South America? The president, nor Congress, seem to be doing anything constructive, so perhaps in our little corner of the States we can get something going. Pocketbooks are hurting too much. Tipping point, ’tis said, is when it’s at four bucks and up. Lila O’Connell Pierceton, via e-mail
