Has anyone spoken with their neighbors or relatives about their gas bills a couple of months ago? Did you get an unusually large bill one month? Pay it? Have it adjusted in the following months? We did.
I think NIPSCO granted themselves an interest-free loan. They overcharged people that they knew historically would just pay and watch for the adjustment. The bill I got for May, paid June 12, was more than three times normal. This month's bill was the first normal bill after the adjustment.
NIPSCO gave themselves a four-month loan for millions of dollars with no interest and no approval.
