Gary Taylor, 63, of Warsaw, died at 7:45 p.m. March 29, 2009, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
He was born Sept. 22, 1945, in North Bend, Ohio, to William and Mary Bowman Taylor. On Oct. 21, 1971, in Kentucky, he married Linda Farmer, who survives.
Moving to Warsaw from Ohio in 1973, he was a CNC machinist at Zimmer for 30 years. He was of the Pentecostal faith and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War from 1965-70.
Also surviving are four daughters, Diane Kyle, Ohio, and Bobbie Pelfrey, Tina Burns and Robin Prater, all of Warsaw; a son, Gary Prater, Warsaw; a sister, Mary Ann Young, Addyston, Ohio; a brother, William Taylor, Harrison, Ohio; and 19 grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastors Chad Burkhart and Albert Whitaker officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Claypool.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
