Gary Stutzman, 65, Warsaw, passed away at 3:05 p.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018, in his residence.
He was born Aug. 10, 1952, to Jonas and Gladys MacLain Stutzman in Plymouth, and has been a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County.
Gary was united in marriage to Sherri Rae Kehoe on May 22, 1980, in Warsaw. Sherri preceded Gary on June 27, 2009.
He retired from R.R. Donnelley in 2009 as a printing press operator.
Gary spent his free time watching sports, particularly the Chicago Cubs, and generally with a cold beer. He also enjoyed testing his wits with mental games, such as Jeopardy or crossword puzzles.
Gary had a very deep love for his family, grandchildren and his quiet life on the river.
Gary is survived by his children: Sara (Randy) Wilde, Richwood, Ohio; Nick (Shawna) Stutzman, Fort Wayne; and Ross (Virginia) Stutzman, Las Vegas, Nev.; sisters: Debbie (Tom) Rubesha, Argos; Toni Oyler, San Marcos, Texas; and Raelen Stutzman, also from San Marcos; grandchildren: Aaron, Allen, Aidan, Ashley and Addison; a sister-in-law, Shelia (Rick) Ellis, Leesburg; a brother-in-law, Kerry (Karen) Kehoe, Warsaw; Dane Lane, Warsaw; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Sherri.
A celebration of Gary’s life will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday, June 1, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
