GOSHEN - Gary George Goble, Goshen, formerly of Warsaw, died at 5:50 a.m. April 18, 2009, in his home.
He was born Aug. 16, 1940, in Iowa City, Iowa, to Garland George and Viola Marie Chamberlain Goble. In 1960, in Warsaw, he married Janice Irene Gross, who died April 10, 1980. On June 22, 1980, in Benton, he married Rosie Reves, who survives.
He was a member of Goshen United Pentecostal Church.
Also surviving are four sons: Brad (and spouse Rose) Goble, Robert (and spouse Crystal) Goble, James (and spouse Patricia) Double and Mike Double, all of Goshen; three daughters: Susie (and spouse Kenny) Lambuth, Laurie Goble, and Judy (and spouse Ray) Moles, all of Goshen; four brothers: Tilman (and spouse Shirley) Goble, Indian Lakes, Mich.; Benjamin (and spouse Joyce) Goble, Henry (and spouse Kathy) Goble and Leonard (and spouse Kay) Goble, all of Warsaw; a sister, Garlene (and spouse Erwin) Bolt, Warsaw; 21 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, son and two brothers.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, with the Rev. Gary Roberts officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
