NORTH WEBSTER – Gary A. Karbach, 61, of North Webster, died at 10:05 a.m. Jan. 23, 2012, in Courtyard Health Center, Goshen.
He was born Oct. 22, 1950, in Fort Wayne, to William C. and Doris Mae Murphy Karbach.
He lived most of his life in the North Webster area. He graduated in 1969 from New Haven High School and was a U.S. Army veteran. He formerly worked at Maple Leaf Farms, Milford, for many years; was a truck driver; worked for a masonry company; and worked at Wawasee Boat Works, Syracuse. He was a member of North Webster American Legion Post 253 and formerly attended Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne.
Surviving are a daughter, Mia (and spouse Neil) Sindelar, Warsaw; a son, Brandon Karbach, Syracuse; three grandchildren; and two brothers, William C. (and spouse JoAnn) Karbach Jr., Decatur, and Scot A. Karbach, Warsaw.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Feb. 4 at North Webster Cemetery, Mock Addition, with the Rev. Mike Beezley officiating and with military rites by member of North Webster American Legion Post 253.
