NORTH MANCHESTER - Garry D. Crowe, 61, of North Manchester, died at 11:02 p.m. Dec. 29, 2007, in his residence.
He was born Sept. 10, 1946, in Putnam County, to Arthur and Geneva Arthur Crowe. On Oct. 4, 1980, he married Virginia Lane, who survives.
He worked with the under seal crew of Pierceton Trucking Co. and later was administrator of Wabash Moose Lodge and North Manchester Moose Lodge. He was clubhouse manager of Sycamore Golf Club, North Manchester, since 2003. He was a U.S. Army and U.S. Marine veteran serving in Vietnam. He was a 1964 Spencer High School graduate.
Also surviving are his mother, Geneva Deckard, Bloomington; two brothers, Larry Crowe, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Brad Crowe, Spencer; and two sisters, Patty Ratts and Beth Ann Bakehorn, both of Bloomington.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at West-Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home, Spencer, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Newark Cemetery.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, and two hours prior to the service Thursday at West-Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home.
