Warsaw physician and former State Senator Pam Galloway filed her Declaration of Candidacy for Congress with the Indiana Election Division on the first day possible, according to a press release from her campaign. This filing will place Galloway’s name on the May 3 Republican Primary ballot for the office of United States House of Representatives, Indiana District 3. This House seat is now open because current Representative, Marlin Stutzman, has chosen to seek the office of U.S. Senator from Indiana. According to her release, “Galloway was the first candidate to announce for this office, the first to file with the Federal Election Commission and the first candidate to put forth a platform. Voters are encouraged to learn more about Dr. Galloway and her platform by visiting her website www.pamgalloway.com.” In the release, Galloway is quoted as saying, “I am very excited to continue the next leg of this journey to become the U.S. Congresswoman representing Indiana’s Third District.” Pam Galloway and her fourth generation Hoosier husband, Dr. Christopher Magiera, make their home in Warsaw.
