Gale Lee Estep, 61, of Warsaw, died at 2:30 a.m. Oct. 9, 2010, in Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw.
He was born Oct. 8, 1949, in Milford, to Eugene Conners and Darlene Kaiser Estep. On Sept. 12, 1969, he married Mary Margaret Collins, who died May 5, 1987. On May 31, 1997, at Gilliam Lanes, Warsaw, he married Pam Alderfer, who survives.
He was a Vietnam War U.S. Army veteran, serving from 1969-71. A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, he worked at Dalton Foundries, Warsaw. He attended Celebration United Methodist Church, of Winona Lake, and was a member of the Milford Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Also surviving are three sons: Brian Lee (and spouse Erin) Estep, Sunman; Anthony Q Estep, Claypool; and Billy Joe (and spouse Amy) Estep, Etna Green; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Hazel (and spouse Mike) Ostendorf, Warsaw, and Stella (and spouse Jerry) Sears, Wellington, Kan.; and two brothers: Lance (and spouse Mary Jo) Estep, Yorktown, and Raud (and spouse Lynn) Estep, Syracuse. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, with the Dr. Rev. Phillip Granger officiating. Burial will be in Milford Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
