Gail F. Zimny, 71, of Claypool, passed away at 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020, at her residence.
She was born on July 9, 1949, in Chicago, Ill., to James Francis and Martha Jean White Desmond.
She graduated in 1967 from Oak Park River Forest High School in Oak Park, Ill., and was married on Nov. 9, 1968, in Oak Park, to Ronald “Ronny” Zimny, who survives. She lived most of her life in Illinois and moved to the Claypool area seven-plus years ago from St. Charles, Ill.
She is survived by husband, Ronald H. Zimny; son, Ronald J. (Kristen) Zimny; three grandchildren: Danielle, Skylar and Zachary Zimny; two sisters: Terese Ehardt and Denise (Anthony) Caudill; two nieces: Cara Ann Martinez and Heather Dellenbach; and two nephews: Meric Allen and Christopher Ehardt.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Pamela Desmond.
No services will be held at this time. Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. Ind. 15, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
