G. David Holabeck, 69, Warsaw, passed away in his residence at 7:45 a.m. July 1, 2015.
He was born Nov. 27, 1945, in Mount Vernon, Ill., to Gus David and Marjorie N. Coates Holabeck. On Aug. 23, 1969, he married Carol Teeter, who survives in Warsaw.
He was a member of and worked as the maintenance supervisor at Pleasant View Bible Church in Warsaw, retiring in 2013. He was also retired from the Army Reserves. 



Also surviving are his son, Dave (and spouse Patricia) Holabeck, Colorado Springs, Colo.; two daughters, Tracey (and spouse James) Shaffer, Johnstown, Penn., and Michelle (and spouse Brant) Burns, Warsaw; eight grandchildren: Scarlett and Jackson Shaffer; Blake and Rylee Burns; Asia, Austin, Sydney and Cayman Holabeck; and his sister: Barbara (and spouse Laird) Ueberroth, Orange, Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, with pastor Michael Hontz officiating. A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
