The Indiana Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches has released its roster for Saturday’s Midwest Meet of Champions, and two Warsaw athletes made the cut. Traveling to Saturday’s event in Granville, Ohio to face athletes from Ohio and Michigan will be Warsaw seniors Gabe Furnivall (400, 4x400 relay) and Seth Fouts (shot put). Furnivall finished 16th at last Saturday’s state finals in the 400 and anchored the ninth-place 4x400 relay, along with sophomore Landan Perry and seniors Chad Goon and Ryan Goon. The University of Kentucky-bound Fouts recorded the second-longest put of the season (60-7), but was unable to compete in the postseason due to a suspension.
