Mitch and Pam Hunsberger of Mentone are very lucky people.
After having the wall on their basement collapse in July, they have received the help and support of friends, family, businesses and the community. The employees of Chore-Time Brock sponsored a raffle for a color television and VCR combination and a weekend for two at the Courtyard of Marriott in Goshen.
The raffles raised $1,500.
Lisa Stewart won the television and VCR, which was donated by Video World in Warsaw. JoEllen Free won the trip to the Goshen Courtyard of Marriott.
The giving still hasn't stopped toward the Hunsbergers, either. The Builders Association of Kosciusko and Fulton Counties and Fidlers Concrete will reconstruct the basement wall at the Hunsbergers' home this Saturday. Once again, employees of CTB's maintenance department will be on hand to donate the labor.
