Now in its fifth year, the annual fruit basket sale by the Kiwanis Club of Warsaw has helped a variety of non-profit organizations in the community. Fruit baskets are a great gift for friends, family, committee members or even co-workers, according to a press release from the Kiwanis. The large holiday-themed basket contains two pears, four oranges and a variety of 10 apples. The smaller holiday-themed basket contains one pear, two oranges and four apples. Proceeds from the basket sale help support Riley Hospital for Children, the Kosciusko County Riley Fund, Combined Community Services, local high school scholarships, Salvation Army, Boy & Girl Scouts, Key Clubs, Circle K groups and more. To purchase a large fruit basket for $20 or a small fruit basket for $12, contact Bruce Andrews, Kiwanis Fruit Basket Committee Chair, at 574-527-5516. Basket orders must be placed by Dec. 10. Kiwanis Club of Warsaw is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time, the release states.
