It's a great country when we can have both fierce and gentle debate in our newspaper. One huge reason we are able to have debate is that we are the greatest nation in the world, founded on Christian principles, with a Constitution greater than any other.I want to wake up Nov. 3 with "new blood" running Washington, not the liberals who are trying to destroy our freedoms, trying to make us a people patterned after Europe, people dependent on government for everything. Did you know that since Obama came into office, one out of seven Americans are now living in poverty? When Obama said "change", he wasn't just whistling "Dixie".
Folks, get out and vote Nov. 2, but don't do it blindly. Please obtain a voter's guide that will tell you what all the candidates stand for and vote for the person who will get America on track again. We need to do that in local, state and federal government. Remember, government works for us, not the other way around.
In less than two weeks America will vote for better or worse. I pray it's for better. God Bless America.
