PIERCETON - The committee for the Free Community Dinner in Pierceton announced that this is the 12th anniversary of serving this meal to the people of Pierceton and the surrounding area.
They will continue to have a drive thru format.
The date is July 17 beginning at 5 p.m. at the Catholic Hall in Pierceton. Hamburgers (grilled), baked beans, chips, fruit and cookies will be the menu for this picnic month.
As expenses go up, they do accept donations, but this is a free meal. It has grown to serving over 200 meals every other month.
