Frederick "Fred" Ray Yohey, 86, of Atwood, died at 11 a.m. March 25, 2008, in Mason Health & Rehab, Warsaw.

He was born April 21, 1921, in Delaware County, to Wayman and Winnie Yohey. On June 5, 1946, in Indianapolis, he married Marilyn Aileen Harman, who survives.

He was a former partner with Dahms & Yarian Inc., CPA, and retired from a management position at R.R. Donnelley & Sons Inc. April 30, 1983. He lived in Prairie Township north of Atwood, since November 1945. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, honorably discharged March 3, 1942. He was a board member and officer of Rozella Ford Golf Course for its construction and startup; was a committee member for the formation of Kosciusko YMCA; a charter member and officer of the Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club; served a term on the school board for Warsaw Community Schools; was a Scoutmaster for Atwood Boy Scout Troop 59; was an adult leader for Sing-Out Warsaw group; was a volunteer driver for taking patients and parents to Riley Hospital for Children; served 18 years as treasurer of Otterbein United Methodist Church; was a member of Warsaw Elks Lodge and held the office of exalted ruler; was a deputy conservation officer for seven years; was a volunteer driver for Kosciusko Cancer Society; and along with his wife, he delivered Mobile Meals (Meals on Wheels) for several years in the summer months. At the time of his death, he was an active member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, a charter member and past secretary of Atwood Lions Club and a member of American Legion Post 49, Warsaw.

Also surviving are three daughters: Penny Lea (and spouse Brad) Neff, Noblesville; Anita Jo Orcutt, Warsaw; and Marsha Ann (and spouse Scott) Davis, Austin, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Helen Yohey, Muncie, and Uldina Kentzel, Etna Green. He was preceded in death by two sons-in-law; three granddaughters; two sisters, Elfleda Moss and Dorothy Swartz; and a brother, Harold Yohey.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Otterbein United Methodist Church, Atwood, with the Rev. Jerry Thomas of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Atwood, officiating. Burial will be in Stony Point Cemetery, Atwood.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw.
