Frederick Eugene Quine

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Frederick Eugene Quine, 87, Charlotte, N.C., and formerly of Warsaw, died peacefully surrounded by his family Nov. 22, 2013, from complications related to Alzheimer’s disease.
He was born Nov. 7, 1926, in Warsaw to Clayton Leroy and Edith Archer Quine. He was married to Darlene McMillan, who survives.
He was a 1945 graduate of North Webster High School, and grew up in Dutchtown. He was a U.S. Army veteran from the Korean Conflict. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service for many years in Elkhart, Chicago and Santa Ana, Calif. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and uncle, and is so missed.
Also surviving are a daughter Edie Quine and son Tom, both of Charlotte; three grandchildren: Katie, Andrew and Alex; a brother, Donald Quine, Indianapolis, who will be 96 in December; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Miller, Elkhart, and Marjorie Will, Santa Ana.
