Frauhiger Named In Top 10 At Butler

INDIANAPOLIS - On March 30, Butler University announced the names of its "Top 100" students.

Bryan Frauhiger from Warsaw was named one of Butler's top 10 students.

The Butler University Alumni Association sponsors the Outstanding Student Recognition Program to pay tribute to the talent and dedication that characterizes Butler students.

The 100 recipients are nominated by students, faculty and staff members for their outstanding character, scholarship and leadership. The program seeks those who give unselfishly of themselves and who are highly regarded by the entire university community.

Frauhiger is a senior chemistry major from Warsaw. He is a member of the Butler University marching band, basketball band and Sigma Nu fraternity. He currently is an undergraduate chemistry researcher and his research results have been presented at the Pittcon International Analytical Chemistry Conference for the past three years. He also received the Outstanding Chemistry Student Award his freshman, sophomore and junior years. He was recognized as a Top 101 Student in 2006, and has been accepted into Order of Omega and the Kappa Kappa Psi honor society. He has served the community by participating in the Crown Hill Tree Project, United Way's Youth Day of Caring and Fall Alternative Break.
