Frank P. Estep, 56, of 5988 W. Blueheron Lane, Mentone (Palestine Lake), died at 11:15 a.m. April 11, 2012, in his residence, after being in failing health for three years.

He was born Sept. 16, 1955, in Williamson, W.Va., to James and Alta Blankenship Estep. On July 2, 1983, in Olive Bethel Church of God, Akron, he married Wanetta Cox, who survives.

He worked at Medcast, Warsaw, for 21 years and formerly worked at White Metal, Warsaw, for 12 years. He moved to Indiana from Kentucky in 1969. He graduated from Mentone High School in 1973. He was a devoted and loving family man.

Also surviving are two daughters, Rachel (and spouse Justin) Stambaugh and Kritstie Estep, all of Mentone; a granddaughter, Alexis; a brother, Delmar (and spouse Mary Alice) Estep, Mentone; two sisters,  Norma Wadkins, Mentone, and Kathy (and spouse Tud) Shuey, Rochester; and his mother- and father-in-law, Martha and Floyd Cox, Akron. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James “Red” Estep.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at King Memorial Home, 101 N. Tucker St., Mentone, with the Rev. Bryan Kratzer and Pastor Thad Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Mentone Cemetery.

Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
