Frank DeVon Hoffer, 88, passed away at 5:40 a.m. May 26, 2015, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. He was born Feb. 8, 1927, in Marshall County, to John C. and Irene M. Brumbaugh Hoffer. On Aug. 13, 1949, in Atwood, he married Dorothy E. Egolf, who survives in Warsaw. He was lifetime resident of Kosciusko County and a 1945 graduate of Atwood High School. He was manager of Etna Bank of Atwood for 18 years, retiring in 1992. He was a volunteer with Atwood Fire Department. Also surviving are a daughter, Ruth Hoffer, Warsaw; a son, Chad Hoffer, Warsaw; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, John Hoffer; a brother, Donald Hoffer; and four sisters: Evelyn Hoffer, Mary Pendleton, Wilma and Edna Hoffer. Family services are private.
