Frank D. Garber, 71, of 1501 Dot St., Warsaw, died at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 1, 2008, in his residence.
He was born Dec. 27, 1936, in Warsaw, to George and Mabel Long Garber. On July 21, 1954, in Plymouth, he married Donna Atchison, who survives.
A lifetime Warsaw resident, he owned and retired from Garber Aluminum Foundry, Warsaw. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, and the ABC Bowling Club Hall of Fame. He was a hard-working man and enjoyed bowling and fishing.
Also surviving are two sons, Frank Jr. (and spouse Ranae) Garber, Pierceton, and Jack Garber, Warsaw; four sisters: Mary Louise Rowland, Burket; Virginia (and spouse Dick) Shilling, Florida; and Nancy Paseka and Ruby Jo (and spouse Larry) Clarke, all of Warsaw; two brothers, Paul Garber, North Manchester, and Dave (and spouse Carol) Garber, Warsaw; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and a brother.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m.
