NAPPANEE - Frank B. Method, 85, formerly of Nappanee, died at 11:45 a.m. Jan. 7, 2011, in Greencroft Nursing Center, Goshen, where he resided since June.
He was born July 18, 1925, in New Paris, to Frank and Bertha Hoshaw Method. On April 13, 1946, in Bremen, he married JoAnn Ritter, who died July 6, 2010.
A lifetime area resident, he graduated from New Paris High School and was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He owned Method Plumbing and Heating, Nappanee, and had worked at Howard Pontius Plumbing and Heating, Nappanee. He was a member of Nappanee American Legion.
Surviving are a son, Richard (and spouse Kay) Method, Nappanee; three grandsons; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Eloise (and spouse Vern) Meeks and twin Bertha Parker, all of Nappanee. He was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, with Pastor Stan Godfrey officiating. Burial will be in Baintertown Cemetery, New Paris, with a military graveside service by members of Nappanee American Legion.
