NORTH WEBSTER – Francis Raymond “Frank” Chamberlin, 82, Warsaw, passed away 12:03 a.m. Dec. 21, 2014, in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. He was born Jan. 28, 1932, in Mishawaka, to Charles Leonard and Rosalie D. Huemmer Chamberlin. On Nov. 18, 1958, in Mishawaka, he married Nina Sue Mathias, who preceded him in death Sept. 21, 2009. He graduated in 1950 from Central Catholic High School, South Bend, and was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War. He retired from John Hancock Insurance in Mishawaka in 1992 after 22 years as an agent, manager and supervisor. He moved to Warsaw in 1998 from the Mishawaka/South Bend area, where he had lived most of his life. He was a former member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mishawaka. Surviving are a son, Tracey M. Chamberlin, Fort Wayne; two sisters, Mary Velleman, Mishawaka, and Dorothy Dosmann, Granger; two brothers, Paul (and spouse Barbara) Chamberlin, West Salem, Ohio, and Joseph (and spouse Betty) Chamberlin, Mishawaka. He was also preceded in death by his parents and five brothers: William, Charles, Robert, John and Kenneth Chamberlin.
