Francis Ray Denny, 90, of Gardens at Lake City, Warsaw, died at 4:30 a.m. Dec. 19, 2008, in his residence.
He was born July 19, 1918, in Claypool, to Parks and Corrie Shull Denny. On Nov. 24, 1949, in Columbia City, he married Phyllis C. Ault.
He was a truck driver for the Kosciusko County Highway Dept. for 15 years, retiring in 1973. He was a member of Warsaw Wesleyan Church and a World War II U.S. Army veteran.
Surviving are three sons: Jay (and spouse Donna) Woodruff, Warsaw; Dale (and spouse Janet) Woodruff, Columbia, S.C.; and Rex (and spouse Janet) Woodruff, Spencer; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
A private service will be at a later date. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Claypool.
Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
