Frances Margaret Cox, 92, of 2237 S. Old Ditch Road, Warsaw, passed away at 10:16 a.m. Feb. 19, 2011, in Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw.
She was born April 13, 1918, in Hamilton Township, Sullivan County, to Rollie and May McPherson Eslinger. She was married to Leon Russell Cox, who died in 1999.
She was a member of The Pentecostals Church, Sullivan, and was a lifelong member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. She was head cashier at Tindalls Department Store, Sullivan, for many years. A resident of Kosciusko County for the past two years, she loved her family and she loved to bowl.
She will be lovingly remembered by a son, Pastor Dan (and spouse Brenda) Cox, Warsaw; two grandsons, Doug (and spouse Stephanie) Cox, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Craig (and spouse Jodi) Cox, Warsaw; five great-grandchildren: Caleb, Shayla, Jaelyn, Camden and Kelsey; and a sister, Doris Eichler, Troy, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rita Ann Cox; four brothers; and three sisters.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at The Pentecostals Church, 54 N. Beasley St., Sullivan, with Pastors Dan Cox and Doug Cox officiating. Burial will be in Johnson Cemetery, Sullivan County.
Calling is from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, and from noon to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
