Do you know someone with a heart of gold?
Kosciusko County Foundation and Kosciusko Leadership Academy are looking for "golden hearts." Annual "Heart of Gold" nomination forms are now being distributed.
People exhibiting a heart of gold may have identified and filled a need; worked to create a positive change; inspired others to volunteer; performed an exceptional act of kindness; recognized an opportunity and acted on it; shared time and energy for the sake of others; overcome unusual challenges to serve others; and/or rendered a service that changed a life.
Any person, regardless of age, who has enhanced the quality of life of someone else or the community is eligible to be nominated. Award recipients will have the opportunity to be recognized at a reception at the Center Lake Pavilion on May 7. In addition, they will be able to direct monetary gifts in their names to philanthropies of their choice.
Nomination forms will be accepted at the Kosciusko County Foundation until March 20. Completed applications can be sent to the Foundation at: 102 E. Market St., Warsaw, IN 46580, c/o "Heart of Gold Awards."

To nominate someone, please include the following information: nominee's name, address and phone; your name, address and phone. Describe how the nominee has touched lives. You may enclose one additional attachment such as a newspaper clipping or letter to support your nomination. Limit the testimonial to 500 words.
