ROCHESTER - Tippecanoe Valley School Corp., Rochester Community Schools and the Caston School Corp., in cooperation with Fulton County Partners in Education, the Fulton Economic Development Corp., the Rochester/Lake Manitou Chamber of Commerce and Ivy Tech Community College will present WorkOne's "Forum on the Future" in Fulton County Oct. 30.

The question that will be addressed is, "How does Fulton County prepare for global competition in the 21st century Information Age?"

To help energize the discussion, WorkOne is bringing in Ed Barlow. He will discuss how rapidly changing global economic conditions threaten local prosperity.

Barlow's first presentation, 7 to 9 a.m., is for Fulton County's school and community/business leaders. A group of 150 students in grades 8-12 from Tippecanoe Valley, Rochester and Caston High Schools will hear Barlow speak from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m. Parents and community members are invited to attend the evening session from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

All three sessions will be hosted by Rochester High School. Registration for the morning and evening sessions is required. To register, go to WorkOne's Web site at www.gotoworkone.com and click "What's Happening," then "Upcoming Job Fairs & Special Events," and "Forum on the Future for the Northern Indiana Region." Find Fulton County about half way down the page and proceed with registration.
