The Fort Wayne Philharmonic returns again to the Warsaw Community High School Performing Arts Center at 2 p.m. Dec. 13 to present The Phil Holiday Pops.
Doors open to the public for general admission seating at 1:45 p.m.
Presented by Lakeland Community Concert Association, the concert, which claims a warm spot in the hearts of hundreds of Kosciusko County families, will be led by Fort Wayne Philharmonic assistant conductor Chia-Hsuan Lin, according to a press release from the Philharmonic.
“I really enjoyed the holiday run out concerts last year with Fort Wayne Philharmonic and I treasured the warmth and love that are shared through all music lovers in our community. I look forward to celebrating this meaningful holiday again,” Lin said.
This year’s concert will include selections from Tchaikovsky’s iconic ballet “The Nutcracker,” as well as more contemporary favorites like “White Christmas,” the annual Christmas sing-along and of course Leroy Anderson’s “Sleigh Ride.” Holiday Pops will also feature talented vocalists Fernando Tarango and Renee Gonzales singing other seasonal favorites.
Tickets are $20 for adults, children free with adult purchase. All tickets are sold at the door prior to the concert.
The press release states the Phil Holiday Pops at Kosciusko County is an “affordable family tradition made possible by the financial support of local individuals, businesses and the Fort Wayne Philharmonic.”
