Posted
The Fort Wayne Philharmonic Orchestra returns this month to the Warsaw Community High School Performing Arts Center as part of the Lakeland Community Concert Association series.
It is the only concert of the series that is not at the Rodeheaver Auditorium in Winona Lake.
The Orchestra performs at the WCHS PAC Dec. 15 at 2 p.m. The Christmas Holiday Pops Concert is very popular, according to event organizers.
The 2013-14 season then ends April 5 at 7:30 p.m. at Rodeheaver with Trio Voronezh.
Trio Voronezh is a folk music band. This band, renowned for its conventional usage of Russian musical instruments and folk melodies, is composed of three members, Vladimir Volokhin on the domra, Sergei Teleshev on the bayan and Valerie Petrukhin on the double-bass balalaika.
Individual concert tickets are available at the door for $20 each.
Tickets for all five concerts that are part of the LCCA season are $45. Students are free when their parents purchase tickets.
