Former Whitko Official Named To State Assn.

Dr. Judith Najib was recently appointed state director for the North Central Association, which is based at Indiana State University.

The NCA is a school evaluation and accreditation association focused on protecting the public trust and promoting a system of education that enhances student learning and provides a framework of accountability.

Najib, who has been an educator 27 years, is assistant superintendent of instruction for the Metropolitan School District of Martinsville. She will begin her new post July 1.

The Fort Wayne native served as assistant superintendent of the Whitko School Corp. from 1990 to July 1992.
