A former Little League president was arrested Friday and is being charged with felony sexual battery against a male under the age of 18.
Lance W. Leeper, 46, of 1411 Rivercrest Drive, Warsaw, was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail at 7:33 p.m. Friday with a bond set at $25,250.
Court documents filed today list the charges against him as sexual battery, a level 6 felony, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, a Class A misdemeanor.
On Friday, a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department officer met with the victim who said that on Dec. 31 he spent the night at Leeper’s Rivercrest Drive home. He went to bed at about 3 a.m. on Jan. 1.
At around 5 a.m., the victim woke up with Leeper’s hand allegedly on his genitals stimulating him without his permission. The victim said he got up out of bed and slept the rest of the night on the couch.
The officer spoke with Leeper who allegedly admitted the victim stayed at his residence on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.
Court documents indicate while the victim was at his residence, Leeper provided vodka which the victim drank. The victim went to bed and was sleeping. While he slept, Leeper put his hand down the victims pants and inappropriately touched his genitals, court documents state.
