Former Leesburg Boy Dies

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A former Leesburg resident died July 19 from an asthma attack after witnessing a car jacking July 18.

Eleven-year-old Logan Greene and his family were at a Wal-Mart in Memphis, Tenn., July 18 when Greene suffered a severe asthma attack as he witnessed Mario Evans allegedly carjack a woman in the store's parking lot.

Greene and his family formerly lived in Leesburg. Greene still has aunts, uncles and a grandmother in the area.

Evans was charged with carjacking, two counts of aggravated assault, employment of a firearm in commission of a dangerous felony and of being convicted felon in possession of a handgun.
