Kosciusko County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge No. 149 will conduct its annual fundraiser.
Employees affiliated with the local FOP will telephone residents seeking donations for the lodge and its yearly sponsored events during the next two months. Callers will be asked if they wish to donate to the lodge, and police officers who are local FOP members will visit homes for any donation.
Last year, the Kosciusko County FOP lodge sponsored four Little League teams, sent two youths to Department of Natural Resources Camp Molenhour and assisted 30 local children with having a gift and clothing for Christmas. The Kosciusko County FOP was also able to provide three college scholarships representing local fallen police officers.
Donations to the Kosciusko County FOP No. 149 stay in the community.
