Editor, Times-Union: Our church pantry, God’s Highway To Heaven (Pastors Bob and Tanya Brown), will be lending a helping hand to the Food Bank of Northern Indiana in South Bend in their “Neighbors In Need” food/fund drive, a one-day event being held at the WSBT Stations on Monday, Feb. 20 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. in South Bend.
I would like to ask on behalf of our pantry and the Food Bank if you would consider a donation to the Food Bank or to our pantry to help in this event to continue to serve those less fortunate with food. Our pantry and other local pantries, plus other local counties, purchase food from the Food Bank in South Bend for our pantries and it is truly a blessing for all they do for us.
If you would like to make a donation by check, please make it to the Food Bank of Northern Indiana, 702 Chapin St., South Bend, IN 46601; or to local pantry God’s Highway To Heaven, P.O. 574 Warsaw, IN 46581 for this event. Or if you would like to donate without driving to South Bend you may drop off checks, monetary donations and/or non-perishable food items on Monday, Feb. 20 from noon to 5 p.m. at our church pantry, God’s Highway To Heaven, on Webster Street (past the Senior Center on Park Avenue) that will then be taken to Food Bank in South Bend.
By working together in this event God can take any donations received and multiply it to help those in need. Let’s support this event for the Food Bank and show them and those helped we do care.
Acts 20-35 (It is more blessed to give than to receive).
Luke 6-38 (I give, and it shall be given unto you.)
