FORT WAYNE – Fontella M. Schoch, 87, of Fort Wayne, died May 23, 2012, in Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home.
She was born in Cullison, Kan. She married Darwin Schoch, who preceded her in death.
She retired from Tokeim and was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 47, Tokeim Athletic Club and Tri-Lake Overlanders.
Surviving are two children, Eldon (and spouse Peggy) Schoch, Fort Wayne, and Fran (and spouse Lee) Nichols, Warsaw; grandchildren: Pam, John (and spouse Rhonda), Chris, Jeff and Jason (and spouse Tracy); great-grandchildren: Justin, Bud, Jake, Natalie, Lukas, Ashley, Jenna, Ian and Ella; a great-great-grandson, Jaivin; and two sisters, Marcella Cox and Evelyn Mueller. He also was preceded in death by a brother, Bob.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home. ***** Memorials may be made to North Highland Church of Christ.
