Floyd Eugene Thompson, 81, Warsaw, passed away at 12:55 p.m. Sept. 26, 2014, in the care of his family and hospice. He was born Jan. 18, 1933, in Huntsville, Ala., to Elma and Beatrice Hastings Thompson. On Sept. 26, 1951, he married his wife of 63 years, Sarah Wynell Kelsoe Thompson, who survives. He was a self-employed businessman for many years, building grain structures, and retired as a general contractor after building many homes in Kosciusko County. He will be remembered by the family and friends that loved him as a good man who trusted the Lord. He was a loving husband and father of three children: Rick (and spouse Shelia) Thompson, Warsaw; Vicky (and spouse Danny) Adkins, Alabama; and Terry (and spouse Deb) Thompson, Chapman Lake; 10 grandchildren: Mary, Chris, Matt, Sarah, Joe, John, Jill, Jamie, Jennifer and Andrea; and 13 great-grandchildren.
