Flora Bynum, 72, Warsaw, died at 3:37 a.m. Feb. 25, 2015, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. She was born Feb. 26, 1942, in Reid, Miss., to Otis and Beatrice Vance Phillips. She lived in Warsaw for the past 30 years and worked in health care, as a CNA and was a foster parent. She was a member of Warsaw United Pentecostal Church and Bright Star Church of God and Christ, Chicago. She loved to fish. Surviving are two daughters, Theresa Clark, Warsaw, and Terri (and spouse Tammy) Taylor, Fort Wayne; grandchildren: Shammona Clark, Chicago; Claude Clark, Warsaw; Sharica Clark, Fort Wayne; Antonio Castillo, Warsaw; Teremy, Tenise and Terome Taylor, all of Fort Wayne; seven great-grandchildren: Tyler, Kierston, Dre, Tre, Iyanna, D’auvionne and Ah’lyah; a sister, Bertha Turner, Warsaw; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceeded in death by her parents and several sisters and brothers. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Warsaw United Pentecostal Church with Pastor Dan Cox officiating.
