The Class 2A No. 2 Warsaw Tigers had four players named to the all-Northern Lakes Conference team, while five members of the conference champion Concord Minutemen made the cut. On the field, Warsaw went 5-0-2 in the NLC, but a forfeiture of wins due to transfer papers not being filed, stripped the Tigers of the conference title, leaving them in fifth place with an official record of 3-2-2. Warsaw’s forfeited games left Concord’s 5-1-1 record as the best in the conference, and the Minutemen put David Diaz, Danny Mujica, Jadon Chupp, Logan Miller and Drew Wysong on the all-NLC squad, with Shawn McCuen being named coach of the year. From Warsaw, Diego Lopez, Grant Allbritten, Nathan Kolbe and Michael Yantz were named to the first team, while Gustavo Rodgriuez was honorable mention. Wawasee’s Jordan Acton was also named all-conference and his teammate Josh Secor was honorable mention. A complete look at the all-NLC team is below.
