Five Warsaw residents were taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital Saturday afternoon after the vehicle they were traveling in slid and rolled into a field. According to a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department crash report, police responded to the single-vehicle crash around 4:30 p.m. Saturday on West CR 200S near the intersection of South Ferguson Road in Warsaw. The report stated that the driver, Sara R. Vickery, 31, West CR 250S, Warsaw, lost control of her vehicle after it slid on the snow, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway, strike a mailbox and roll onto its side in a nearby field. Vickery was traveling with four passengers: Donald E. Street, 35; Matayia M. Street, 8; and Mya N. Street, 7, all of West CR 250S, Warsaw; and Charles E. Lackey, 18, South Blue Spruce Road, Warsaw. All reported experiencing pain and were transported to KCH by ambulance to be treated for injuries.
