Kosciusko County will see more snow, beginning late Monday night.
The National Weather Service predicts a chance of snow beginning after midnight Monday, followed by accumulating snow throughout Tuesday.
As much as 3 to 6 inches of snow is in the forecast for Warsaw by the end of Tuesday.
Winds of 20 mph and gusts of about 35 mph are expected to cause patchy blowing snow.
A winter storm watch is in effect from late tonight through Tuesday, the weather service said.
The lake effect storm will create difficult driving conditions, and snow totals in St. Joseph and LaPorte counties will be 5 to 9 inches with as much as a foot in localized areas near Lake Michigan, the weather service said.
By Monday afternoon, areas north of Kosciusko County were under a winter storm warning. Kosciusko County as well as Marshall, Whitley and Allen counties were under a winter storm watch.

The high temperature Tuesday will be about 25, and the low will fall into the mid teens.
Similar highs and lows are expected Wednesday, and there will be a slight chance of additional snow throughout the day. Otherwise, it will be cloudy.
Thursday will be cloudy with a high in the upper 20s, according to the weather service.
The upcoming snow event comes three days after the first measurable snowfall of the year, which affected the northern part of the county moreso than the southern half.
The county’s central dispatch reported a big uptick in the number of traffic accidents and slideoffs on Saturday and Sunday.
According to figures provided by the dispatch center, police responded to 68 property damage accidents, 17 accidents involving injuries, 15 other types of crashes and 22 slide-offs.
