Goodwill Industries of Michiana will hold a fashion show during the “Repurpose, Recycle, Reuse!” First Friday in downtown Warsaw. The event will be from 5 to 9 p.m. with the Goodwill Fashion Show beginning at 6:15 p.m. in the Courthouse Square. Models will feature clothing from Goodwill showcasing the latest fashion trends described by ZaWondra Hunt, fashion stylist. Those attending will see how they can stay in style and on budget by shopping at Goodwill. There will be a recycle contest with judging at 7 p.m. His Vine Church will have a recycled faith skit at 6:45 p.m. and there will be vendors with art items. Combined Community Services will have a booth on Buffalo Street in front of Warsaw City Hall during the Friday. CCS will collect gently-used handbags for its upcoming “Success Is In The Bag” luncheon and handbag auction being held at Latte Lounge & Gallery, formerly Courthouse Coffee, on April 26 at 11:30 a.m. All proceeds from this event will go directly to the participants of the self-sufficiency programs at CCS. CCS will sell tickets to the event at its booth. Tickets are also for sale at Latte Lounge for $15. Prom dresses and shoes also will be collected for the Glass Slipper prom dress drive event on April 19. First Fridays features monthly events highlighting the arts and is sponsored by the Warsaw Community Development Corporation.
